A.M. Maris is a speculative fiction writer from Cape Cod, MA. She is a 2025 Clarion alum and 2026 Creative Futures Cape Cod fellow. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Lightspeed and Apex. She lives with chronic illness and chronic pain: most of her writing is a rumination on the horrors of having a body.
